Bruce Calvin Moore

Bruce Calvin Moore, 64, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Hospice of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the home. The only son of the late Oma and Verla Moore, Bruce was a lifetime resident of Rockingham County and a member of the Jefferson Penn Masonic Lodge #384 A.F& A.M as well as a Shriner. He could often be found at Piedmont Drag Way, he raced and worked on cars all of his life, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was proud of his wife and sons and their accomplishments in life. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Linda Rich Moore; sons, Bruce Calvin Moore, Jr. and wife Mary along with Kevin Joshua Moore and wife Karen; sisters, Rebekah Simpson and Scarlett Tano; grandchildren, Stewart, Elizabeth, William, Dana, Bradon, Logan and one great grandchild, Mohammad.
