Carlton Wayne Linville

Reidsville: Mr. Carlton W. Linville, 65, went to be in the more immediate presence of the Lord on Friday, August 21st, 2015. Carlton was born on September 15th, 1949 in Rockingham County to the late Lawrence O. Linville, Sr. and Gladys Hawkins Linville. He was a member of Glencoe United Methodist Church. Carlton was preceded in death by his siblings, Jacqueline Abercrombie, Doris Carrol, Bettie Price, Lawrence O. Linville, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Beth B. Linville of the home; his daughters, Jodi L. Lambert and husband, Brian of Stoneville, Carla Linville and fiancé, Doug Marsh of Reidsville, Michelle Williams and husband, Justin of Reidsville and Amanda Eller of Holcomb, Missouri; son, Adam Stewart Knight and wife, Lyn of Linwood; grandchildren Brandon Cannon, Cori Eller, Seth Williams, Audri Knight, Ashton Pannells, Olivia Williams, Maelyn Knight, Dylan Lambert and Reagan Lambert; sister, Otelia Linville Glosson of Summerfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24th, 2015 at two o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Revs. Forest Jones and Jenny Wilkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Glencoe United Methodist Church Cemetery in Summerfield. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
