Carlton Anderson Warren

Reidsville - Carlton Anderson Warren, 81, of 8294 US Hwy 158, died Monday, December 5, 2011, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating.Mr. Warren was a lifelong resident of Reidsville and the son of the late Sam and Inez Ford Warren. He worked for many years as the cook for Sam's Truckstop. Later he retired from Evergreen Memory Gardens where he served faithfully as the caretaker of the cemetery grounds for many years. He was a loving godfather and friend to many. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his many aunts and uncles.Mr. Warren is survived by his godsons, Shane Clewis of Greensboro and Randy Clewis of Gainesville, GA and their mother, Brenda Patton of Greensboro; special friend, Erin French and a large extended family including many cousins.There will be no formal visitation.
