Carnell Turner Mansfield

with the Lord Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 11, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.   Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Michael Rose, Roger Rose, Ricky Rose, Brandon Rose, Shelley Rose and Doyle McDaniel. Carnell was born in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Ulysses W. and Bertha Blankenship Turner.   She was retired from Creighton Industry and was of the Baptist faith.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Rose and Lyman “Ike” Mansfield; son, David Rose; brothers, Michael, Leonard, Levi and Posey Turner; grandsons, Anthony and Stephen Rose and Ronnie McDaniel, Jr.; nephew, Michael Turner, Jr. and niece, Connie Manus. Cherished memories are left with her children, sons, Frankie and wife, Pat and Ricky Rose; daughter, Darnell McDaniel and husband, Ronnie of Reidsville; sisters, Ruby Brown of Reidsville and Shirley Wall of Florida; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.   She was a great mother who loved her family and helped anyone that needed it.   Her door was always open; she will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 7:00 – 9:00PM.   At other times the family will be at the home of Frankie and Pat Rose, 1642 Sandy Cross Road.
