Carol "Casey" Bray

Reidsville- Carol “Casey” Bray, 72, of 6867 US 29 Business, passed away, on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday August 19, 2014, at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church with Rev. Beau Cooksey officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with military rites performed by the Rockingham County Honor Guard. Casey was born in Caswell County to the late Daniel Webster Bray and Frances Elizabeth Cox Bray. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and a retiree with the State of North Carolina. He was a member of Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Vickey Bray; sons, Daniel W. Bray and wife, Rennie and Jason C. Bray and wife, Leah; daughter, Melinda B. Moyer; grandchildren, Chelsie Moyer, Canada Moyer, Chanda Moyer, Amber Haskin and husband, Ben and Allison Adcock; brother Julian Bray and wife, Debbie. The family will see friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. The family would like to thank hospice and the nurses, especially Tomi Myers for the love and care shown to them.
