Carol Manley Driscoll

Carol Manley Driscoll, 70, of 1503 Grooms Road, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Duke University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at Covington Wesleyan Church with Pastor Ralph Clayton and Rev. Clay Warf officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Carol was born in Reidsville, NC to the late Russell and Linda Mays Manley. She was a member of Covington Wesleyan Church, where she was a choir member, Wesleyan Women President and a Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Burlington Industries (Reidsville Drapery plant) after 38 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her nephews and nieces and their families. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Preston Driscoll; brother, Benny Manley and wife, Sandra; step brothers, Allen “Skip” Gunn and wife, Martha, Max Gunn and wife, Virginia; nephews, Jeffrey Manley and wife, Pam, Tyler Manley and wife, Jennifer, Danny Gunn and wife, Bobbie; nieces, Wendy Gunn and Kelly Page and husband, Joey. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
