Carolyn Hines Lipford

Pelham: Carolyn Hines Lipford, 76, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Happy Home Congregational Church with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. Born in Pittsylvania County, VA, Carolyn was the daughter of the late, Bernard James and Edith Crowder Hines. She was a loving wife and mother who adored her children and grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Elliott; brother, Beverly James Hines and granddaughter Danielle Nicole Walker Mrs. Lipford is survived by her husband of 57 years, Claude Lipford; her sons, Terry Allen Lipford and Kelly Lynn Lipford and wife Tara; daughter, Kimberly Lipford Walker and grandchildren, Matthew Swartzlander, Michael Lipford, Maxwell Lipford and Jordan Lipford.
