Catherine Vaughn Williams

Reidsville –Catherine Vaughn Williams, 86, of Avante at Reidsville, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Mt. Bethel Christian Church, 8130 NC Highway 65, Summerfield, NC with Rev. Harry Smith and Rev. David Hill officiating. Mrs. Williams was born in Rockingham County to the late Roy and Blanche Parrish Vaughn. She retired after 32 years with Madison Throwing Company. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Williams and son-in-law, Kenneth “Buzz” Martin. She is survived by her son, Ken Williams and wife, Gail; daughters, Kathy Martin and Sybil Williams; grandchildren, Michael Williams, Daniel Martin, Blake Martin and wife, Amanda and Josh Williams; great-granddaughter, Kendyl Leigh Martin and one sister, Alice Faye Frye. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 421 Sutton Road, Madison, NC.
