Reidsville: Cecil O. Bulla, Jr., 73, of 214 Bobwhite Drive, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Noon Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hester officiating. The burial will follow at Floral Gardens Memorial Park, 1730 W English Rd High Point, NC 27262. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Bulla was born in Randolph County to the late Cecil O. Bulla, Sr. and Josephine Hill Bulla. He was a faithful and beloved member of Community Baptist Church. A master craftsman, he could build a bird house or a fine piece of furniture. He loved antiques and nature. He was always considerate of others and helpful to anyone in need. To the end, he was an avid Duke Blue Devil fan. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hemric Bulla.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne L. B. Cowan and husband, Andy of the home; his son, Aaron Andrew Bulla of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Abby and Zach Cowan; his sisters, Audrey Thomas and husband, Stephen and Nancy Lewis and husband, Robert, all of Raleigh, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
