Cecil Bryant Talley

Reidsville –Cecil Bryant Talley, 58, passed away on December 14, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Jackie Talton and Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating. The Rockingham County Honor Guard will perform graveside military honors. Cecil was born on March 15, 1954 to the late Jesse and Myrtle Bryant Talley. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a former employee of MacField, Unifi and Papa John’s Pizza. Cecil was outgoing and always such a good person that was fun loving and had a good heart that loved to make people laugh. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. He will truly be missed. He is survived by his brothers, David Talley and wife, Glenda of Reidsville and Thomas Talley of Greensboro; sisters, Barbara Talley Cook and husband, James of Pelham and June Talley of Reidsville; special nephew, Lance Cook and a large extended family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association; 22418 Blue Ridge Road 206, Raleigh, NC 27607 or to Wilkerson Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses. There will not be a formal visitation but the family will receive friends at the home of brother, David, 258 Pennington Road, Reidsville NC.
