Charlene Hall Kennon

Reidsville – Charlene Hall Kennon, 73, of 695 Berrymore Road, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2010 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Wright officiating. Mrs. Kennon was born in Patrick County, VA to the late Randolph “Tucker” and Addie Rakes Hall. She was a faithful and longtime member of True Hope Church. She made her house a home and it was always filled with cooking, singing and country crafts. Mrs. Kennon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Actually, many people referred to her as “Ma Hen”. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin Dail Kennon; her son, Garry Kennon; and nine brothers and sisters. Mrs. Kennon is survived by her son, Keith Wayne Kennon and wife, Debbie of Stoneville; her daughter, Donna Kaye Kennon and husband, Drake Harris of Reidsville; 5 grandchildren, Amy Watkins and husband, Alex, Michael Kennon, Cynthia Kennon, Donald Hale and wife, Amber and Michael Stultz, Jr.; 6 great grandchildren, Alana Watkins, Carea Cholka, Bryson Kennon, Lucas Kennon, Hunter Stultz and Bailey Hale; her sister, Margaret Vipperman and husband, Pat of King, NC and a large extended family. The family will receive friends at the home.
