Reidsville: Charles Michael Abbott, 19, of Chatham, Virginia, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Cook officiating. The burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Charles was born in Danville, Virginia, to Herman Dwayne Wilson and Beverly Lynn Abbott. He is survived by his father, Dwayne Wilson and step-mother, Hope, of Chatham, Virginia; his mother Beverly Peay and step-father, Tony King of Reidsville; maternal grandmother, Shirley Abbott of Danville; paternal grandparents, Hermon and Carolyn Wilson of Blairs, Virginia; sisters, Kate-Lynn Cheyenne Parker of Reidsville; half brother, Tristian Lee Wilson; half sister, Salena Victoria Wilson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
