Yanceyville: Charles Taylor Chilton, 66, of 2446 Cherry Grove Road, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Alamance Regional, Burlington , NC.Graveside services will be held at10:00AM, Friday, June 18, 2010 at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Garfield Doss officiating.Taylor was born in Rockingham County to the late Ethel Chilton Jefferson. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam conflict and was an auto parts salesman. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister.He is survived by his sister, Carol Knowles and husband, Brison.The family will receive friends at the home of Carol and Brison, 3267 Grooms Road.
