Charles "Chuck" Edward Watson

Charles “Chuck” Edward Watson, 60, of 2088 Oregon Hill Road, Ruffin passed away at his home on Thursday, November 23, 2023. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim James officiating. The burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery. 

Chuck was a longtime resident of Rockingham County and graduated from Rockingham County High School. He worked in various trades throughout his career. He was an avid UNC Tar Heel fan and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed playing golf every chance he got, and his favorite vacation spot was the beach. Chuck adored his grandchildren and made the most of every opportunity to spend time with them. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany Watson Brown; mother Faye Dean Watson; and sister Teresa Ellis.

Chuck is survived by his daughter Kristin Watson; grandchildren Colton Watson and Kaislee Brown; his father Charles Watson; his brother Kevin Watson; and extended family.
