Charles Earl Davis

Reidsville – Charles “Chuck” Davis, 75, of 508 Redd Street, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Boswell officiating. The interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Davis, Walt Davis, Dylan Davis and Lee Davis. Mr. Davis was born in Wake County to the late Charles Earl Davis and Agnes Poole Pendergrass. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a loving and giving father. He served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Agnes Belch. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Arlene Marks Davis of the home; sons, Richard Davis of Reidsville and Walt Davis and wife, Tammy of Lewisville, NC; grandchildren, Kathryn Davis, Dylan and Lee Davis; sister, Bobbie Davis and husband, Joe of Titusville, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at the residence.
