Charles Edward Kimbro

Charles Edward Kimbro, 66, of 1538 Hwy 158 East, passed away on January 8, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at his mother’s home (1538 Hwy 158 East). Charles was born in Rockingham County and worked over 30 years as a car salesman. His charismatic personality was recognized all over the county. He was the life of the party and he never met a stranger. It was always said that he could sell ice to the Eskimos! Charles was an avid gun collector and had a passion for his dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Kimbro; his brother, Gary Kimbro; and his special uncle, Lee Kimbro. Charles is survived by his loving daughter, Catherine Kimbro of Reidsville; his beloved mother, Wyomie Smith Kimbro of the home; his brother, Tommy Kimbro and wife, Jennifer of Reidsville; his nephew, Jake and his niece, Graceanne Kimbro; and extended family.
