Reidsville - Charles Billy Johnson, 80, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Annie Penn Hospital.A graveside service was held 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Gordon Fisher officiating.Billy was born in Rockingham County to the late William James Johnson, Sr. and Minnie Southard Johnson. He was a retiree of the Asplundh Tree Company and was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.Survivors include his sister, Mary Gibson; brother, William James "Jimmy" Johnson, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made to Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church, c/o Linda Cobb, 121 Davidson Dr, Reidsville, N.C. 27320.
