Charles Daniel Kernodle

Reidsville:  Charles Daniel Kernodle,  51, of 2302 S .Scales Street, died on Monday, March 31, 2008 at his home.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Jones and Rev. Mark Tolodziecki officiating.   Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Charles was a native of Rockingham County and of the Christian Faith.   He loved fishing, hunting and racing.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Irene Witty and Gurley and Annie Kernodle; nephew, Ron Blake, Jr. and brother-in-law, Johnny Bolden. He is survived by his sons; Charles Keith Kernodle and Chad Elwood Kernodle; parents, Daniel R. and Ann Witty Kernodle all of Reidsville; brother, Terry Kernodle, sisters, Barbara Blake and husband, Ronnie of Ruffin, Patricia Cox and husband, Bart of Eden, Linda Bolden, Betty King and husband, Ron, all of Reidsville; mother of his children, Donna Kernodle; special caregiver and friend, Anna Wingate.   The family  received friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2nd from 7:00- 9:00 PM.   Other times the family will be at the residence.   Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
