Charles Hall Nichols

Reidsville- Charles Hall Nichols was born on February 3, 1926 and died December 29, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Smothers Nichols and is survived by their 6 children, Fran Daniel, Patsy Zoll and husband, Joe, Charlie Nichols and wife, Ann, Dorothy Benallal, Bill Nichols and John Nichols. He was passionate about his family and enjoyed the interaction with not only 12 grandchildren, but also his 12 great grandchildren. Nick was a “Main Streeter” living in Reidsville, North Carolina most of his life. He was educated at Elon College after serving in the US Army Aircorp during WWII. He enjoyed a career as a partner and owner of Nichols and Company Insurance recognizing the importance of community. He served in many capacities at Main Street United Methodist Church and was a Trustee of Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. There will be a celebration of Life service at 11:30 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Main Street United Methodist Church and the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
