Charles C. Roberts

REIDSVILLE-Charles Cleveland Roberts Jr., went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Lowes United Methodist Church, located at 3191 NC Hwy 87, Reidsville NC, 27320. Burial will follow after the service at Thompsonville Baptist Church at 2033 NC Hwy 87, Reidsville, NC, 27320 A visitation will be held Monday December 11th, from 6-8 P.M. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Charles was a life time resident of Rockingham County. An avid sports fan, he loved Duke Basketball and Carolina Panthers football. He was a farmer and a retired worker from Cone Mills after 20 plus years of service. He was a faithful member of Lowes United Methodist church all of his adult life. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents Charles C. Roberts Sr. and Eunice Mae Simmons Roberts. He is survived by his sister Betty Jones; Brother, Richard Roberts; along with 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
