Charlie Banks Busick

Eden – Charlie Banks Busick, 25, of 218 Ashley Loop, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 11, at Baptist Temple Church with Rev. George Fox and Pastor D.M. Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Charlie was born in Guilford County to Jeffery Keith Busick and Tamara Ratliff Garcia. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Baptist Temple Church. Charlie enjoyed movies, music and collected guns and G.I. Joes. He attended Community Baptist School, Hargrave Military Academy and graduated from Rockingham Community College with honors. Charlie is preceded in death by uncles, Shane Clark, Bobby and David Cobb.He is survived by his daughter, Chaely Busick of Eden; father, Jeffery Busick; mother, Tamara Garcia and step-father, Chuck of Eden; step-brother, USAF Tech Sergeant, Charlie Garcia and wife, Stephanie of Germany; step-sisters, Becky Shytle and husband, Doug of Petersburg, Fl, Debbie Calvo and husband, Jason of Tampa, Fl, Mindy Garcia of Ellicott City, Maryland; grandparents, John and Virginia McDonald of Eden, Tommy and Doris Ratliff of Reidsville, B.A. and Bette Busick of Reidsville; aunt and uncle, Ronda and Ronald Smith of Reidsville; numerous cousins and extended family.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and other times at the residence of his mother, Tamara of 141 Millbrook Drive, Eden.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rockingham County Animal Shelter Campaign, P.O.
