Chase Taylor Durham

Greensboro: Chase Taylor Durham, 26, of Hidden Lakes Apartments, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 4, 2015 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating with military graveside rites. Chase was born in Guilford County. He graduated from Rockingham County High School and served faithfully in the US Army from 2011 – 2014. He was currently a student at GTCC. Chase was fun loving and all around great guy. He always had a smile on his face and was concerned for others first. He was a loyal friend and loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, O.T. Patterson and his uncle, Brian Patterson. Chase is survived by his, father, Tracy Durham and wife, Stephanie; his mother, Serene Patterson Strader all of Reidsville; his brother and sisters, Hunter and Rachel Durham, Brooke and Madison Strader; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Gracie Ann Durham; his maternal grandmother, Marlene Gammon all of Reidsville; his step grandparents, Ronnie and Carolyn Adkins of Eden and a large extended family. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Robert and Gracie Ann’s home (135 Greenwood Drive, Reidsville).
