Chattie Marie Apple

Reidsville– Chattie Marie Neal Apple, 88, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 26th at Morehead Memorial Hospital. There will be a private family graveside service Monday, June 29, 2015 at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Hodges officiating. Mrs. Apple was born in Rockingham County to Daniel Courts and Lottie Powell Neal on June 5, 1927. She was a loving mother, dedicated wife, loyal friend and devout Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Command Sergeant Major Charles Duke Apple and her son, Charles Edward Apple. Mrs. Apple is survived by her son, Daniel Apple and wife, Kimberly of Stoneville and her daughter, Donna D’Amore of Reidsville; grandchildren: Jason O’Neil Apple, Jeremy Lee Apple, Curtis Anthony Apple; step-grandchildren: Hannah Lowe, Malik Fultz, and Jamie Campbell; one great- grandchild, Jax O’Neil Apple; one brother, Gordon Neal and wife, Jackie of Reidsville and daughters-in-law, Shirley Apple of Tennessee and Caroline Apple of Reidsville.
