Christian Corey Jessie

Reidsville: Corey Jessie, 31, of 315 Broad Street, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Henry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Corey was born in Guilford County. He was a collector of swords for 20 years and like talking and teaching about them. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Marshall and Lucy Campbell, Sr. and Robert and Dorothy Jessie. He is survived by his grandmother, Elizabeth Jessie of the home; mother, Edie Jessie Turner and husband, David of South Carolina; great uncle, Marshall Campbell, Jr of Virginia; aunt, Carole Eckstrom and husband, James of Reidsville; uncles, Chris Jessie of Greensboro; Craig Jessie and wife, MaLisa of Winterville, N.C.; step-brother, Wayne Turner of Shelby, N.C.; cousins, Allison Eckstrom, Maison Eckstrom, Zachary Jessie, Devin Jessie, Arabella Jessie, Skylar Davies, Hunter Davies and Wayne Hodges; nieces, Ariana Turner, Cacey Turner and nephew, Alex Turner. . The family will meet friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6 to 7 PM and other times at the home of Carole and James Eckstrom, 581 Harrison Crossroads Loop.
