Clarence Edward "Buddy" Roberts

Clarence Edward “Buddy” Roberts, 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Happy Home Church Cemetery, NC Highway 700, Ruffin, NC. Buddy was born in Caswell County to the late John and Dora Roberts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Chandler, Gracie Lovett and Frances Francis; brothers, Billy and Harry Roberts. His home was in Pelham, NC for many years and lived a number of years in Eden and Greensboro. Buddy was cared for by his loving sister-in-law, Sue Roberts. He is survived by brothers, Jerry Roberts and wife, Sue, John Roberts, Jr.and Annette; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14th at Gatewood Baptist Church, 182 Gatewood Road, Providence, NC from 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM, followed by a memorial service and refreshments.
