Clif Sanders closed his eyes and passed into God’s loving arms at his home on Monday, May 22nd. Clif fought a long and courageous battle against cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Jake, Jessie, Eric and wife, Crystal, their three children, Camron, Chloe and Cara; sister, Kathy Decker and husband, Ronnie, their kids, Melissa and Matthew; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Clif was an active member of Rockingham County. He served so many, in so many ways through his children’s school and athletic programs, Rockingham County Special Olympics and Camp Carefree. He loved his family and friends so much. It was these memories that he spoke of often and gave him great comfort during the difficult times.
In honor of Clif, a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, May 27th at 3:00 PM at Camp Carefree in Stokesdale, NC. His family invites you to come and celebrate his life with them, share your favorite “Clif” memory and would appreciate any pictures you may have to share.
His family would like to honor Clif’s final wishes of his family and friends all together, laughing at the many good times and memories.
