Cordia Thacker Branch

Cordia Thacker Branch, 84, of 197 Reid Lake Road, went home to be with The Lord on February 24, 2019 at the Rockingham County Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Pastor Billy Harmon officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Branch was born in Rockingham County to the late, Charlie and Lucy May Thacker. She was formerly employed with Glen Raven Hosiery and attended The Rock Church. Mrs. Branch enjoyed working in her yard and was a wonderful cook; the best chicken and dumplin’s in the county!!! Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harley Branch; and her daughter, Linda Branch. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Adams and husband, Ray of Stoneville; her granddaughter, Brandi Sparks and husband, Howie of Mesa, AZ; her great granddaughter, Havana Adams of Stoneville; her brothers, Johnnie Thacker and wife, Linda, Ed Thacker and half brother, Paul Thacker all of Reidsville; and extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to The Rock Church Building Fund, 1004 Forest Street, Reidsville, NC 27320.
