Corene Cummings Fulp

Reidsville:   Corene Cummings Fulp, 79, of 171 Setliff Road, died on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Funeral services will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, April 27, at 4:00 PM, with Dr. Harold Venable officiating.   Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.   Pallbearers will be Steve Cummings, Robert Brown, Bryan Bullock, Richard Johnson, Allen Mabe, Eric Martin, Joey Martin and Mike Somers. Mrs. Fulp was born in Bassett, VA to the late George B. and Mary Jarrett Cummings.   She was retired from American Tobacco Company after 39 years of service.   She was a member of the New Heights Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pattie Mae Holland and brother, David Cummings. She is survived by her husband, Willie “Nute” Fulp of the home; brother, Herman Cummings and wife, Bessie of Reidsville; sisters, Rhoda Shelton of Reidsville and Betty   Sue Roark of Iron Station, NC; sister-in-law, Ruth Cummings of Reidsville. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, April 26, from 6-8 p.m.   At other times the family will be at 1774 Mt. Carmel Church Road.
