Dallas Ray Murray

Reidsville: Dallas Ray Murray, 60, of 110 Water Works Road, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Bullins officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Wayne Smith, Jason Smith, Doug Lawrence, Mark Oxendine, Harvey Holder, Billy Holder. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Holder and John Cochran.Dallas was born in Stokes County to the late Billy Howard and Mary Bullins Murray. He was a veteran of the US Marines and a former employee of ASPLUNDH Tree Service. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James William Murray and sister, Mary Ann Lewis.Survivors include his wife, Christine Murray; sons, Dallas Ray Murray, Jr., Charles Kenneth Murray; daughter, Tina Marie Murray; grandchildren, Courtney Danielle Murray, Brandon Ray Whitmire, Madison Alyssa Murray; brothers, Jessie Murray, Timothy Jeff Murray, Walter Lee Murray and sister, Debbie Sue Murray. The family will receive friends Friday, evening from 6-8PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
