Daniel Neal Apple

Daniel Neil Apple, 69, of Reidsville went home on Sunday, February 11, 2024. A private memorial service is planned for the future. Dan was born in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Charles Duke and Chattie Marie O’Neal Apple. 

He served proudly in the United States Army for 22 1/2 years as a First Sergeant. Dan loved his family more than anything and was very proud of them. He never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a very giving soul, including giving back to his country by serving the veteran community. He also started a youth honor guard to teach young people how to honor and respect their nation and flag. Dan was the best dad anyone could ever ask for and he will be greatly missed. 

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Apple; sister Donna D’Amore and grandson Jax Apple. Dan is survived by wife of 12 years Kimberly Apple; children Neil Apple (Caroline), Jeremy Apple (Heather), Christina Campbell, Malik Fultz (Brianna Ryan), Hannah Lowe (Brianna Collins); grandchildren Axl Apple; sister-in-law Shirley Apple and his fur-babies Goldie, Buddy, Kimba and Terror.
