Daniel Hunter Stevens

Daniel Hunter Stevens, 27, of 119 Laurel Ridge Court passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 5th, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and other times at his home. Daniel was born in Guilford County. He graduated from Rockingham County High School and was formerly employed with UPS. Daniel was a fierce competitor, playing the goalie position for ice hockey and roller hockey teams for over 11 years. He actually played for the Greensboro Generals Youth Organization and the Carolina Tsunami team out of Raleigh. He was an avid fan of the UNC Tar Heels and the Carolina Hurricanes. Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Elmer Stevens. Daniel is survived by his parents, Gidget and Jimmy Stevens; his brothers, Dylan and Drew Stevens all of the home; his maternal grandparents, Charlotte and Wayne Martin; his paternal grandmother, Lynda Stevens; his paternal great grandmother, Nell Baldwin; his aunts, Sherry Nance and husband, Josh and Robin Stevens; his special friend, Ariel Farmer; and a large extended family.
