Danny Lee Bibee

Danny Lee Bibee, 60, passed away peacefully Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday December 24, 2016 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Smithey officiating. Danny was born November 16, 1956 in Guilford County. He worked many years as a truck driver and most recently drove for Smithey Logging. He loved hot rods, especially mustangs and old trucks. His favorite hobby included traveling to nearby flea markets. Danny was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Bibee and his sister, Judy Bibee. Survivors include his son, Rocky Bibee and wife, Cindy of Eden; grandchildren, Kristin Richardson, Daniel and Isaac Bibee; his mother, Helen Smithey Bibee Sharp of the home; brother, Tim Bibee and wife, Deb of Ruffin; and nephews, Craig and Josh Bibee. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Gail Fulp for her care and support during his last days. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
