Danny Lee Lester

Danny Lee Lester, 62, of 1114 Rocky Ford Road, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2020 at his home. There will be no formal service at this time but the would welcome visitors at the home. Danny was a native of Rockingham County and the son of the late, Ora and Joyce Horn Lester. He was in the US Air Force where he served faithfully from 1975-1979. He was employed by Epes for many years. He loved being Pawpaw and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lester and sister-in-law, Judy Lester. Danny is survived by his wife, Kathy Boswell Lester; son, Joey Lester and wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Cheyenne and Autumn; and brother, Dewey Lester.
