Reidsville – Danny Lee Smith, 62, of 1202 Gunn Street, Apt. 517, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Rockingham County Hospice Home.Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Lawsonville Road Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Tuck and Rev. Danny Chatham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Johnson, Jason Vaughn, John Boy Willis, Steve Davis, Daniel Smith and Wayne Goodson.Danny was born in Rockingham County to Thelma Davis Smith and the late Edward Lee Smith. He was an employee of Southern Foods Survivors include his mother Thelma Smith; sisters, Judy Smith, Debbie Smith and Janet Smith and husband, Danny all of Reidsville; niece, Kasey Smith and nephews, Jeffrey Gillie and Jason Vaughn.The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Janet and Danny, 154 Penny Lane.
