David Allen Bolden

Eden: David Allen Bolden, Sr., 57, of 930 Hampton Road, went home to be with the Lord and God he loved on Sunday, April 5, 2009. David was born on February 22, 1952 to the late Dewey and Cliffie Bolden. He was employed by Snider Tire Company of Greensboro. His love of his work and his co-workers kept him happy. At other times he was an avid boater and fisherman at Smith Mountain Lake with his extended family. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved and enjoyed his family. He was a member of Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church and also attended Osborne Baptist church in Eden. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Tillman will be officiating. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sandra Bolden of the home. He is also survived by his children, David Bolden, Jr., Tammy Flippen, Bobby Smith, Jr. and Ashley Pruitt. His grandchildren and the love of his life are Chelsie and Chandler Pruitt, Wesley and Zachary Smith, D.J. Bolden, Dylan Bolden and Jasmine Flippen.
