David Allen Gieber

David Allen Gieber, 62, of 9764 Hwy 87, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Templeton officiating. The family will see friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home. David was born in Germany and was retired from Disaster Restoration.He was known for his cooking, as he was called the “Grill Master”. He also loved his Harley Davidson and would “give you the shirt of his back”. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Gieber; daughter, Danielle Gieber; son, Andrew Gieber and wife, Megan; grandchildren, Kobe Carter and Stella Addison; brothers, Delbert Gieber and spouse, Bob Templeton, Art Templeton and Bart Templeton; sisters, Judy Eubanks and spouse and Mary Ellen Ramos; many special nieces and nephews and his special canine companion, his beloved dog, Otto Wilkerson Funeral Home is assisting the family and condolences may be sent to www.wilkersonfuneral.com.
