David James Martin

Reidsville – David James Martin, 58, of 123 S. Franklin Street, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his home. A memorial will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 1, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends after the service. David was a loving father to Julia Ann Martin, and dear friend to Julia’s mother, Jeannine Martin both of Greensboro. He was also a devoted son to Patricia Martin and late father, George; brothers, Jeffrey (Diane) and Daniel (Judy) Martin; sisters, Patricia Bevacqua (Ross), all of Ohio and Penelope Masley (Jay) of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. David was born in Painesville, Ohio and moved to Reidsville in 1970 with Martin Carolina Company. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and was most recently employed by Reidsville Metal Works.
