David Lee Shoemaker

Reidsville: David Lee Shoemaker, 56, of 883 Lawsonville Ave., died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. David was born in Thomasville to the late Preston and Ruby Gooch Shoemaker and was an employee of Plastic Revolution with 18 year of service. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony, Carson and Doug Shoemaker. Survivors include his wife, Christine “Glenda” Myrick Shoemaker; sons, Jason Maness and Jonathan Williams; stepsons, Ricky Rose and Roger Rose; stepdaughter, Regina Harrison; brothers, Larry Shoemaker, Norman Shoemaker and Johnny Shoemaker; sister, Linda Hamilton and husband, Clifford, The family will receive friends Friday, August 2, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
