David Scott Shropshire

Reidsville: David “Scott” Shropshire, 32, died suddenly on Thursday, August 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 10, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Beau Cooksey will be officiating. The burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Scott was born on October 11, 1982 in Rockingham County. He had a heart of gold and loved and trusted everyone that he met. He was a loving father, son and brother. His passion was being a true “Dallas Cowboy Fan”. Scott trusted in the Lord and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his son, Chase Porter Green; daughter, Chasity Nicole Shropshire both of Reidsville; his mother, Robin Lynn Moore Seaman and Arnold “Lee” Shelton of Reidsville; his father, David Wayne Shropshire of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; his brothers, Zachary Ryan Shropshire and Christopher Eulalio Shropshire; sister, Hope Annette Griffin Mabe and husband, Derek; step brothers, Jeremy Shelton and Robbie Harrell-Shelton; and step sister, Leann Shelton. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, August 9, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 till 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at 301 Peach Tree Road, Reidsville.
