Dawn Chatham Hendley

Reidsville: Dawn Chatham Hendley, 81, passed away June 30, 2016 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 1, 2016, at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery from 12:00-1:00 PM. At other times they will be at the home of Edna O’dell, 904 Magnolia Street. Mrs. Hendley was born in Rockingham County to the late Daniel Lee Chatham, Sr.and Ruby Arden Chatham. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence T. Henley; brother, Dan Chatham, Jr.; brother-in-law, Clayton O’dell. Survivors include her son, Mike Hendley and wife, Gloria; grandchildren, Michael O. Hendley and Christy M. Hendley: sister, Edna O’dell; nieces, Carol Ray Burgess and husband, Charles, Debra Brame and husband, Gary, Mona Southard and Marsha Petty and husband, Ken and several great nieces and nephews.
