Eden- Debra Tate Boulding, 59, of 909 Friendly Road, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Debra was a native of Ruffin and the daughter of the late Harry Robert and Nellie Jarrell Tate. She was retired from the Rockingham County School System. She loved to travel and enjoyed crafts of any kind. She had a heart of gold. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Dewey and Cecil Tate. Debra is survived by her husband, Barry Kenneth Boulding of the home; her children, Tabitha Tate Boulding of New York City, NY and Brandon Kenneth Boulding and girlfriend, Kendall Barrett of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, John Dillard Tate and wife, Betty, Lorene Lawrence and husband, Dewey, Elaine Smith and husband, Charles, Bessie Sparks, George Tate and wife, Cindy, Wayne Tate and wife, Betty, Betty Carol Ellington and husband, James, Glenda Gunn and husband, Starling, and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Opal Boulding; sisters-in-law, Teresa Manning and husband, Roy, Gail Thurman and husband, Roger, Pam Sparks and husband, Keith, Janet Shelton and husband, Ray, Barbara Tate and Sandra Tate; special friends, Shirley Crisp and Janet Durham. The family will receive friends from 6-8, Monday, December 1 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Bessie Sparks home (1522 Hampton Road, Eden). Memorial contributions may be made to the Leakesville, Spray Elementary School Backpack Project, 415 Highland Drive, Eden, NC 27288.
