Dela Kasserine Norman Royals

Reidsville: Dela Kasserine Norman Royals, 45, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at three o'clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for thirty minutes prior to the service. Kassy was born in Reidsville to John R. Norman, III and wife Brenda Pinnix Norman. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant who enjoyed caring for and spending time with the elderly. Kassy was a loving mother, caretaker, daddy's girl, and an energetic, outgoing person who never met a stranger, and never judged others. She was very talented in many areas, loved dogs, her family, friends, and especially, her son, Cross. Kassy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, J. R. Norman, Jr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Grant Pinnix. Survivors include her son, Cross Royals; parents, John R. Norman, III and wife Brenda Pinnix Norman; sister, Anja Shreve; nephews, Brandon Shreve, Justin Shreve and fiance, Morgan Patterson; great-nephew, Elliot Shreve; grandmother, Helen C. Norman; aunt and uncle, Denise and George Biely of West Union, Ohio; cousins and close friends. The family would like to thank Moses Cone Hospital and staff for the exceptional care given to Kassy.
