Delores Saunders King

Greensboro – Mrs. Delores Saunders King, age 67, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Reidsville with Brother Jerry Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Delores was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School (Grimsley) and adored her dogs “Sugar” and “Roxie”. She is survived by her husband, Carl “Wayne” King of Summerfield; children, Jim Culberson and wife, Kim of Belews Creek, and Ann Chavis and husband, Dwayne of Climax; grandchildren, Dwayne Chavis, II, Adam Chavis, and Ethan Culberson. Also surviving is her dearest friend, Rena Reynolds. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care given to Delores at Moses Cone in the CICU. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Guilford County Human Society, 4525 West Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27409.
