Kimberley Denise Shelton Carter

Kimberley Denise Shelton Carter, 56, of Reidsville passed away on July 14, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor James Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service and other times at the home. 

Denise was born in Reidsville to her parents Beverly S. Wall and John H. Shelton. She was a hardworking woman who worked for Lorillard’s Human Resources Department beginning in 1991 and worked there for 32 years until her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her two children, family, friends and her two dogs, Bella and Cricket. Denise had a giving heart, was always willing to help anyone in need and was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She was also enthusiastic about traveling the world, visiting places like Aruba, Mexico, Barbados and England.

In addition to her father, Denise was preceded in death by her stepfather Carl M. Wall. She is survived by her mother Beverly S. Wall; daughter Eryn M. Carter; son Evan S. Carter; daughter-in-law Alexandria R. Carter and uncle Joseph T. Stewart.
