Dianne Strader Atkins

Dianne Strader Atkins, 66, of Eden, went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020 surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Happy Home Cemetery. Dianne was born in Craven County to the late, Elvin Wesley Strader and Elizabeth Owen Strader. She loved plants decorating and the beach. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Wesley Strader and Bobby Lee Strader; sisters, Kathy Strader Patterson and Peggy Joyce French. Dianne is survived by her husband of 26 years, Eddie Lee Atkins; children, Ronald James Nelson, Jeffrey Michael Nelson and Jason Russell Nelson; grandchildren, Brandon Nelson, Justice Nelson, Ashlyn Nelson, Jason Nelson, Wade Nelson, Alana Nelson and Trenton Nelson; siblings, Rachel Geddings, Faye Soyars, Larry Strader and Gail Strader as well as a large and loving extended family.
