Don Ramsey Sutton

Reidsville: Don Ramsey Sutton, 67, of 246 Mullins Road passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Puryear officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at his home. Don was a native of Rockingham County and was the son of the late Ramsey and Molly Jordan Sutton. He was the head chief mechanic and retired from ZARN, Inc. after many years of service. He was an avid golfer, loved country music and he especially enjoyed Hank Williams, Sr. Don is survived by his wife Carol Doss Sutton of the home; his sons, Donald Sutton and wife, Betsy of Reidsville, Tony Sutton of Greensboro, Daniel Sutton and wife, Crystal of Reidsville, Buford Hutson of Eden and Michael Hutson of Reidsville; daughters, Connie Stewart and husband, Steven of Eden and Pamela Tate and husband, Robert of Madison; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lea Anderson of Madison; brothers, Billy Sutton and wife, Cathy of Pelham, David Sutton and wife, Sara of Reidsville and Allen Sutton and wife, Rachel of Reidsville and numerous nieces and nephews.
