Donald Glenn Isley

Reidsville – Donald Glenn Isley, Sr., 72, of 141 Lick Fork Lane, passed away Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Strader officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM and other times at the home. Donald was born in Reidsville on May 4, 1941, to the late George and Grace Moore Isley. He was a faithful Baptist and a very dedicated father and grandfather. Donald was also a very proud tobacco farmer. He will be missed by his loving daschund Rusty. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlton, J.R. and Sammy Isley. Survivors include the mother of his children, Gail Williams Isley of Reidsville; his children, Donna Chilton and husband Jerry of Reidsville, Cathy Martin and husband Tim of Reidsville, Donald Glenn Isley, Jr. of Reidsville, Mark Isley and wife Cindi of Reidsville, Beverly Harison and husband Keith of Reidsville, Russell Isley and wife Linda of Reidsville and John Isley and wife Robin of Reidsville; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brothers, Homer Isley and wife Dot of Reidsville and Wayne Isley and wife Shirley of Reidsville and sisters, Nita Curry and husband William of Reidsville and Ann Thacker and husband George of Stokesdale.
