Donald Joseph White, Jr.

Reidsville: Donald Joseph White, Jr., 76, of 203 Carter Ridge Dr. passed away on September 11, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Ross officiating. The service will include Masonic rites and military honors. The family will receive friends after the service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in the fellowship hall. Donald was a native of Oakland Co., MI and was the son of the late Donald White and Phyllis Palmer Fisher. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and also enjoyed attending the Holy Infant Catholic Church. He retired from the Chrysler Automotive Company in Michigan with over 25 years of service. Donald was faithful to his pledge with the Masonic Order and was, most recently, a member of the Jefferson Penn Lodge #384 A.F & A.M. and often attended meetings at the Leakesville Masonic Lodge #136 A.F. & A.M. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Lois Ritchie and his brother, Robert White. Donald is survived by his wife, Shirley Wnuk White of the home; children, Sherry White Amin and husband, Sunil, Joseph Yonkowski and wife, Lisa Joy, Victoria French and husband, Jimmie, Stephen Yonkoski and Emmallissa Marie Yonkoski; grandchildren, Tara Amin, Dallas Yonkowski, Shelby Yonkowski, Miranda Yonkowski, Couper Yonkowski, Bailey French, Joshua French, Hailey Wallace, Trevor Wallace, Rob King and Chad King and wife, Rachel; great grandchildren, Kie and Rosa King; and brother, Frankie Fisher and extended family.
