Donald Ray McLain

Reidsville: Donald Ray McLain, 56, of 838 Lawsonville Ave., passed away on August 16, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Greenview Cemetery with Chaplin John R. Connor officiating. Mr. McLain was born in Guilford to the late Henry Clay and Gladys Sartin McLain. He worked for Best Roofing Company and was known as a hard worker. Donald was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He is survived by his three sisters, Barbara Mayer of Reidsville, Kathy Barfield of Climax and Brenda Arrington of Burlington. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening August 18 from 6-8 pm and other times at the residence of sister, Brenda Arrington, 2657 Sudie Drive, Burlington, NC 27217The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and also the Hospice Care Unit of Moses Cone Hospital for their love and care they showed Donald during his sickness.
