Donald Reese Shoe

Mr. Donald Reese Shoe, 61, went be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18th, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 21st, 2016 at two o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Puryear will officiate. Don was born on September 22nd, 1954 in Alamance County to the late Seth Reese Shoe and Joy Belle Smithey Shoe. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed quiet time with his family, friends and especially his beloved dogs. Don is survived by his wife, Susan; children: Phillip, Brooke Michael and Ryan Moore; seven grandchildren; brother, Steve Shoe; sister, Pam Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 from six until eight o’clock at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated or contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choosing in Don’s memory.
